Itinerary Details :

Day 01 : Arrival Ahmedabad & Drive to Bhavnagar
Arrival at Ahmedabad. Proceed to Bhavnagar. Check-in at hotel. Get ready for half day tour of Bhavnagar. Nightlong stay at hotel.


Day 02 : Bhavnagar - Palitana - Gondal (60 + 180 Kms) Bhavnagar
Bhavnagar Leave early for Gondal with packed breakfast. Enroute visit Shatrunjaya Temple-palitana. Have lunch (own) and head on Gondal. Check-in at Hotel. Head out and explore Gondal. Head back to hotel for overnight stay.


Day 03 : Gondal - Junagadh - Tarnetar ( 65 Kms + 160 Kms)
Breakfast and leave for Junagadh. Visit Ashoka Rock Edict, Museum and Buddist Cave. Thereafter, head on to the Fair site at Tarnetar. Enjoy an evening at the fair site (basic accommodation) Overnight at camp at TARNETAR.

Day 04 : TARNETAR - Fullday Enjoy the Festival at Tarnetar.
Enjoy an entire day at the fair site. Enjoy scrumptious Dinner and sound sleep the Camp site.

Day 05 : TARNETAR – Mandvi (230 Kms)
Have breakfast in the morning and then leave for Mandvi(Kutch). Arrival at Mandvi and indulge into some beach activities. All night long stay at the Swiss Tents.


Day 06 : Mandvi to Bhuj (60 Kms)
Breakfast. Set out for the Rabari Villages (Mandvi) and Samma Village (Pragsar). In the afternoon head out for Bhuj. Arrive and proceed to the office of the DSP/Collector to get a permit for a visit to the Banny village. Visit Bhuj in the evening and visit Aina Mahal. Get back to hotel for overnight stay.
** Note: 2nd & 4th Saturday & Public holidays are closed at DSP/COLLECTOR office hence set the dates accordingly.
( Please Note all foreign clients need to obtain the permit for Banny village visit)


Day 7 : Bhuj – Fullday visit to the Banny villages (150 Kms / 4 Hours onway)
banny-villages Enjoy full day excursion to the Banny villages and witness the traditional art and culture. Getback to hotel for all night long stay.


Day 8 : Bhuj - Ravechi
Have a healthy breakfast and then visit Ravechi Fair.

Ravechi Fair [Near Bhuj] ( Proposed Dates : 02/4th Sept'2006) Ravechi Mata Temple is located near Nana Reva in Rapar Taluka of Kutch. A grand fair is held on Bhadra Sud Atham of Hindu Calender. More then 30 thousand people participate in Ravechi Fair, mainly Ahir, Rabari & Charan communities.

** Important Note : Please note "these dates may vary according to Hindu Calendar" Evening stay at the fair site (accommodation is very basic) Overnight Revechi or return to Bhuj for overnight.


Day 9 : Ravechi – Bhuj (150 Kms)
Enjoy a visit to the fair. Return to hotel in Bhuj for overnight stay.


Day 10 : Bhuj – Dasada (Little Rann of Kutch) – 280 Kms / 6 Hours Drive
Breakfast and then get ready for Dasada. Check-in at Rann Riders or Desert Courses. Enjoy a jeep safari at the Little Rann of Kutch. Enjoy overnight stay at Coobas ( Huts accommodation).


Day 11 : Dasada (Little Rann of Kutch)
little-rann-of-kutch-tour Visit the Little Rann of Kutch, Wild ass sanctuary, flamingo’s & nearby villages. In the afternoon visit Sun Temple, Modhera & Patan. Overnight at hut accommodation at huts at Coobas.


Day 12 : Dasada – Balaram
Head out to Balaram. In the afternoon visit the Ambaji Temple and the Badrapurnima Fair.

Bhadra Purnima Fair [Near Ambaji] ( Proposed Dates : 05/07th Sept'2006) Ambaji village lies at the foothills of the Aravalli mountain range in north Gujarat. It is the principal shrine of the goddess in Gujarat. The temple of Ambaji is recognised as one of the original Shakti Pithas. On full moon days there is a virtual festival at Ambaji, but the full moon of Bhadrapad is one of the four most important festival days of the year, when agriculturists go to the temple in their thousands, along with members of the general public. There is a large fair on this occasion, while in the evening performances of Bhavai are held, and garba programmes are organised. Over five Lacs people come here during Bhadra Purnima fair.

Day 13 : Balaram
In the morning visit the Bhadra Purnima site near Ambaji. In the afternoon head on Poshina and visit Garasia Tribal Villages and explore the Bhails and Garasias. Return to Balaram for nightlong stay at hotel.


Day 14 : Balaram - Ahmedabad (200 Kms)
Drive to Ahmedabad in the morning. Enroute visit Adalaj Step Well. Explore Ahmedabad in the evening and enjoy a Gujarati Dinner. Nightlong stay at hotel.

Day 15 : Full day to Ahmedabad visit
Breakfast and then enjoy full day Ahmedabad city tour. Enjoy Heritage Walk, Siddhi Sayad Masjid, Gandhi of Ashram, Swaminarayan Temple and Calico Museum. Visit Gandhi Ashram in the evening and get back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 16 : Ahmedabad – Fly out
Departure to Mumbai/Delhi.
